So here is the beginning of the third in the Shodowlands series. I begin by outlining in gray on one layer then fill in with pattern on another. The drawing is done with a Wacom tablet. Using this method of printing means that I can change things easily, providing flexibility and speed. The final image is then printed digitally onto canvas. The Shadowland series are all 1m square.

I really really like this. I've never heard of a Wacom tablet. I will have to read up on that. Wow you are a man of many talents.Luke, thx for sharing.
I like your Shadowlands series a lot, mainly because of the monochromatic feel to it. Many thanks.
Greetings from London.

Wow Luke, this is amazing! A lot of fun. I look forward to seeing more.
Luke, welcome and thank you for hopping on my blogwagon. I've come to your site and am utterly fascinated by your work. I,too, am going to have to check out the Wacom tablet. I have joined your follower list, and will be watching your future progress.
Hi, Luke--quite amazing work, indeed! thanks for visiting my blog. How large are your drawings? Liz
..and...(head slap) realized you said you've drawn them with on a tablet. so ignore size question : ) Fascinating to see your progress and your process!
Do you sell your works and if I can be so crass to ask, how much would these be worth. The hardest thing I find is letting go of things i create...
does that make sense...lol
Thanks for your comments. In reply to Abbey a lot of the price of your work depends on where you are selling it and whether there is a demand for it. The Shadowlands are big digital prints, they cost around £100 to get printed and stretched. I would charge maybe £250 for an unlimited addition version if selling direct. For an A5 ink drawing/ painting £65 framed. Pricing is tricky though as there is no hard rule to it.
Beautiful. I'm amazed that all that detail is done digitally.
