Pulteney Bridge Day, Bath

Here we have Bath's most famous bridge looking particularly cheery. Not to mention charmingly wonky. The medium is ink on paper. The water effect is created with pearlescent inks with washes of colour on top to create a shimmering effect. I'm not sure if the use of shiny inks looks a little kitsch, but I do enjoy the effect so will persevere with them.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I have heard that Bath has a stunning architecture that owes a lot to the Romans. Maybe I've got the wrong city, but Bath has always within the places to visit. I think my wife had a friend there once and that painting makes want to get in the car or buy a train ticket and visit your home city. Many thanks.

Greetings from London.

As always, breathtaking. I love the use of inks. I didn't even know there were so many colors of vivid inks. I could live there. Thx for sharing.
