Another picture featuring St Stephen's church on the horizon. This view looks down the beginning of Walcot Street. Once a hub for artists and artisans in Georgian Bath, Walcot is a street with an unorthodox nature.

I did the this drawing from a photograph. Drawing from life involves having to find a spot to get the view from, which for this picture would have meant hanging out of the window. 

...and with colour. 

A Digger called Larry

These diggers and dumpers are all made with pearlescent inks on MDF blocks. I plan to do quite a few of these and place them into sets of vehicles. Also decided to give each vehicle a name.

Here is the beginning of a heavy machinery series. All the diggers and dumper trucks were spotted locally. The images are painted as usual on MDF using inks.

Balloon Inflating in Victoria Park

Balloon Inflating in Victoria Park is a series of five would block paintings. Each painting measures 12 by 12cms. The wood blocks use inks painted onto MDF with a layer of white emulsion in between. This balloon happened to have a lady posing in underwear printed on the side, I didn't realise this until semi inflated.

The Five Fords of Union St

The Five Fords of Union St are a series of ink paintings on woodblock. The series depicts all the Ford cars parked on Union St, Bath, when I was walking past last week.
